Fast Company Honors Omnicom Group Agencies TBWA and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners

NEW YORK, Feb. 16 /PRNewswire-First Call/ — Omnicom Group Inc. (NYSE: OMC) agencies TBWA Worldwide and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners have been recognized by Fast Company magazine as two of the world’s most innovative companies.
Fast Company named TBWA one of its Innovation All-stars, those companies that were featured on the magazine’s 2008 and 2009 honor rolls and “fought a dour economy with renewed creativity and bold initiatives.”
In naming Goodby, Silverstein & Partners to its Top 10 By Industry Most Innovative Companies rankings, the magazine noted, “The San Francisco shop topped 2009 industry awards for everything from its Comcast ‘Rabbit’ spot to its data-hungry widget for Sprint.”
At the same time, media communications agency OMD Worldwide has been named the most awarded media agency for the fifth consecutive year in the just released 2008 “Gunn Report for Media.” In addition, Omnicom Media Group was the second most awarded global media network in the report.
OMD has held the top spot since the inception of the “Gunn Report for Media” in 2004. The “Gunn Report for Media” combines the winners’ lists from all of the world’s important awards to establish worldwide league tables for the communications industry.
This latest recognition for Omnicom Group agencies follows top awards and rankings from, among others, Advertising Age, Adweek, the Big Won, USA Today’s Super Bowl Ad Meter, The Gunn Report and Nielsen IAG Research.
